Who says Defensive Driving is a waste of time?

Here are a few of the useful things I’ve learned:

1. Did you know that Texas has a point system on its drivers licenses? Each moving citation that goes on your record and doesn’t result in an accident gives you 2 points. If it caused an accident you get 3 points. If you collect 6 points within a 36 month time frame you will be required to pay an annual surcharge of $100 for the first 6 points and $25 for each additional point for 3 years.

2. Stressed spelled backwards = desserts. Which means you should totally eat desserts when you’re stressed. LOTS of them.

3. Many of the common excuses drivers give for speeding sound perfectly legitimate to me.

4. If you take an online defensive driving course called “A Sense Of Humor Driving”, do not expect to laugh. Not even once.

5. Taking defensive driving sucks. But I think I already knew that
