This evening Otis and I went to Mother Egan's Irish Pub for trivia night. While we didn't do too well in the rankings, we did have fun, which was the point of going in the first place. Not only did we have stupendous fun, but we were joined by Austin's own mayor, Will Wynn. Yes, I know he's not the greatest celebrity there is (and celebrity is probably even stretching it), but it was kind of cool to be hanging out and playing trivia with the mayor. At the very least it's cool that he's participating in one of the many fun things to do in this town, at one of Austin's long time local establishments. Mayor Wynn is keeping it weird. Right on.
And since I want to show you a picture, I'll leave you with this one from earlier in our evening. Here, Abi is patiently waiting for me to tell her she can eat the salmon on the plate. Waiting patiently and droolingly.

Thanks for inviting me out! I googled the Pandora's box answer and realized I got it wrong. Sorry :( But we should do trivia again sometime!

Yeah, I had a lot of fun. And it's ok...if it makes you feel any better we got zero right on the round after you left. Trivia is definitely for a larger group...or for those who spend too much time on Wikipedia. We'll definitely do it again!
