Practice

Today Otis and I attended a birthday party for Suge, the dog of some friends of ours. They had doggie treats galore, a meat-a-licious doggie cake for Suge, and hats for everyone. I made Abi wear a hat long enough for me to take a picture...which took about 10 minutes. I was getting frustrated with her lack of cooperation until a couple showed up with their 2 year old daughter, explaining they were late due to a tantrum she had thrown because she didn't want to wear any clothes to the party and her mother insisted that she had to wear SOMETHING. I'll count my blessings for now, and consider this practice, both in patience and in humiliating my future children.

The look of utter humiliation

Well the hat just looks great on Abi. =) And I bet she slept like a rock last night.
